The Department of Health has again fallen short of its target to vaccinate half a million people against Covid-19 over 3 days.

The government held a second Vooma Vaccination Weekend from Friday to Sunday in an effort to ramp up inoculations, ahead of the festive season. But only half of its projected target showed up to receive the jab. The low turnout saw the country fall short of reaching the 24-million vaccination mark.
