Water-shedding implemented in EC as dams run dry

Published on

Water-shedding has been implemented in several Eastern Cape towns as dams have run dry. Water collection points have been installed in several suburbs in the Kouga Municipality, as water-shedding was implemented. This includes the towns of Jeffreys Bay, Humansdorp, and the Greater St Francis area. Meanwhile, levels in the Impofu Dam have dropped too low to allow for water extraction. The dam near Humans-dorp will also no longer be able to supply residents with water.
