The latest Teaching and Learning International Survey says one in four South African teachers are battling acute stress, due to their working environment. The survey says many teachers find their situation so difficult, that many want to leave the profession. According to the survey, 25% of teachers report experiencing stress in their work, which is much higher than the worldwide average of 18%.
