[LISTEN] Myth: Flash Your Lights? Gangsters Might Get You

Published on

Driving on the roads in South Africa can be a real pleasure, especially when you’re off on a long road trip. But let’s be honest—it can also be a bit of a hassle, especially when folks don’t stick to the rules of the road.

And then there are those myths about driving that can really make things confusing. For example, have you ever heard that you should tap the roof of your car when you go through a yellow traffic light? It’s just one of those quirky things that can turn a simple drive into a bit of a nightmare!

Angel shared a bizarre myth about flashing your lights on the road where it’s a form of ritual of gangsters when they flash you, they’ll follow you and horrible things would happen to you.

One of the common myths is that you should hold your breath while driving through a tunnel. Some people think that doing this will keep bad luck at bay or that a wish will come true if they manage to hold their breath all the way through.
