Best actor nominee Will Smith has smacked presenter Chris Rock at the Oscars ceremony.

While presenting the award for Best Documentary, the comedian made a joke about Jada Pinkett-Smith’s appearance. Smith who went on to win the Best Actor award apologised to the Academy but not to Rock upon accepting his award.
