Business Day reports that the Department of Health has reportedly signed a crucial contract with Pfizer for the supply of 20-million Covid-19 vaccines. The doses of vaccines will be delivered by die middle of this month. Together with the Johnson & Johnson agreement (for 30-million doses of the vaccine), South Africa is set to finally begin the large-scale roll-out of its vaccine programme.
