At least 5 people died on Cape Town roads this Easter weekend. One of those who died was a well-known pastry chef, the 30-year old Melyssa La Vita, who was killed during an apparent drag race event on Friday evening. City of Cape Town traffic officials confirmed that there were at least 13 motor vehicle accidents which left five people dead between Good Friday & Saturday.
