News24 reports that according to sources, acrimony between different provincial divisions of the Hawks has developed into a tussle over who controls the docket and investigation. According to the source, the decision to level terrorism charges against Mafe also caused tension, seemingly because the Prosecutions boss Shamila Batohi was not consulted beforehand.
