The ANC says it wants an explanation from SAPS as to why there were no officers on duty at Muizenberg when bathers frolicked in the sea in a violation of regulations, at the weekend. At the same time, the EFF has called for the suspension of police and law enforcement officers who “failed” to remove protesters at various beaches around Cape Town.
