Mkhize: “Everyone – who wants to be vaccinated – will receive a Covid-19 injection”

Published on

Health Minister, Zweli Mkhize says even though the number of people, who registered for their Covid-19 vaccination is still very low, everyone who wants to receive a vaccination, will receive their injection.

Mkhize was answering questions in Parliament last week and says though people can use the EVDS-system to register for their injection, the system actually serves to help the Department keep track of how many people have actually been vaccinated.

He urges people who qualify to be vaccinated – under phase 2 of the vaccination strategy – to continue registering for their jab.
