Metrorail Western Cape says 6 suspects have been arrested during a joint anti-crime-operation yesterday, with stolen copper-cable, worth hundreds-of-thousands of Rand, also recovered. The operation yesterday, saw 24 officials carry out foot-patrols and scrap-yard inspections in crime hot-spots. Spokesperson, Riana Scott, says the value of the recovered cabling is estimated at around R190-thousand.
