On 13 November 2025, step into the Aquarium’s underwater wonderland and be part of a birthday bash honouring three decades of marine magic, conservation, and unforgettable memories.

Buy your entrance ticket and dive into the fun! Snap a selfie at the Legacy Photo Wall with one of the Aquarium’s beloved mascots. You can also enjoy a limited-edition 30th birthday coffee at the I&J Ocean Exhibit Snack Stop. At the same time, you stand a chance to win a penguin plushie during the penguin feed. Don’t miss the Aquarium’s divers making a special birthday banner dive in the I&J Ocean Exhibit. This is a picture-perfect moment that captures the spirit of this milestone celebration.

Since opening in 1995, the Two Oceans Aquarium has welcomed over 10 million visitors and become one of Cape Town’s most loved attractions. It stands as a global leader in marine conservation, education, and research. It inspires people of all ages to protect the ocean.

Head to the Children’s Play Centre for daily puppet shows (10h30, 13h30, and 15h30) featuring favourites like Sally the Seal and Exo the Crab. These fun, educational stories make learning about the ocean an adventure for little ones.
