In the most anticipated sporting event on the Cape Town calendar since the 2010 Soccer World Cup, the Rafael Nadal VS Roger Federer match was sold out in less than 10 minutes, more than 5 months in advance!

Smile 90.4 FM has procured FOUR TICKETS to this amazing match, which we are giving away to our tennis loving listeners who follow every serve, volley, smash, and baseline rally!

The ULTIMATE PRIZE for any tennis fan, seeing two greats go head-to-head!

For two weeks (20th January – 31st January 2020) Smile 90.4 FM is searching for the most attentive and deserving tennis fans. Each day on Smile Breakfast (6am-9am) we will play the “grunt” of one of the world’s most famous tennis players. Listeners are invited to call in and correctly identify the person who this “grunt” belongs to (e.g. Monica Seles, Maria Sharapova, Jimmy Connors, Novak Djokovic, et al) in order to get into the draw (on both Fridays) to WIN a set of double tickets to The Match in Africa.

A bit about this historic match:-

20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer will play his first-ever match in Sub-Saharan Africa in Cape Town on Friday, February 7, 2020, at 8 p.m. Federer’s opponent will be 18-time Grand Slam Champion and rival Rafael Nadal.

The match will be played to support children’s education in Africa. The Match in Africa will be the 6th edition of this event, but the first to be played in Africa. The spectacular arena on the Atlantic coast has a seating capacity of more than 50 000 people and will be the perfect venue to attempt to also set a new world record for the most spectators to watch a tennis match. As a curtain-raiser, fans will be treated to a celebrity-pro doubles match between Roger Federer & Bill Gates vs Rafael Nadal and Trevor Noah.
