You’re Next
This South African thriller sees Detective Khumalo and Khan, venture deep into a chasm of deceit and murder. They work to uncover a world where a social media system is has people willing to do anything for attention. ‘You’re Next’ stars S’bonelo Cele, and Drew Baillie. And is directed by Arish Sirkissoon.
Releases in cinemas on July 14.
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One
Tom Cruise returns as Ethan Hunt in the action-packed action franchise, Mission:Impossible. Hunt and his IMF team must take on their most dangerous mission yet: find a weapon capable of mass destruction, before it falls into the wrong hands. And if that’s not bad enough, Ethan will have to face off against a mysterious, all-powerful enermy.

Joy Ride
Four Asian-Americans start out as strangers and embark on an outrageous and utterly hilarious journey through Asia in search of Audrey’s (played by Ashley Park) birth mother. The ups and downs of the journey sees them bond and discover truths about themselves and each other. The cast includes Park, Stephanie Hsu, Sheery Cola and Sabrina Wu.
Who can forget that Smile FM was the media partner for ‘Joy Ride’. And treated some lucky fans and Smile FM staff to an exclusive screening.

Barbie
Greta Gerwig’s Barbie is already making noise with its trailers and exclusive screenings. It sees the decades-adored doll, living in Barbieland, having the most colourful time. However Barbie (Margot Robbie) and Ken (Ryan Gosling) soon get the chance to explore the real world: full of danger and joy.

Oppenheimer
Award-winning actor, Cillian Murphy becomes American scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer who is better known for his role in the development of the atomic bomb. He is joined by Florence Pugh, Emily Blunt and Matt Damon. The film has Christopher Nolan as its director, which means it is sure to not dissapoint.

Master Gardener
Horticulturalist, Narvel Roth (Joel Edgerton) meticulously tends to the gardens of his demanding employer, Mrs. Haverhill (Sigourney Weaver). But when her troubled grand-niece, Maya (Quintessa Swindell) arrives seeking apprenticeship, Narvel will have to delve back into his past. Unearthing violent secrets that threaten to destroy his life in the present.
