July is about to become home to one of the most culturally significant cinematic releases of the year. Of course, we’re talking about Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, which is an ode to the iconic Mattel doll.
Margot Robbie dazzles on-screen as the titular toy, along a bright cast of other Barbies, who each embodies a different one of the hundreds of jobs the character has held over the years.
Insecure creator, Issa Rae plays President Barbie, singer Dua Lipa makes her big-screen debut as Mermaid Barbie and Saturday Night Live alum Kate McKinnon plays ’80s aerobics-inspired Barbie.
