TLDR: Some things are COLDER than Jozi Snow

Earlier this week, Joburg residents woke up to what looked like a scene from Disney’s Frozen. Snow everywhere! And if you have been a climate change denier til this point, perhaps the snow angels in Sandton will turn you into a staunch believer.

The rare snowfall, on Monday, dusted gardens and rooftops in Johannesburg and other high-lying parts of the country. Local weather services are warning of potential road closures and frigid temperatures.
