Tiger Brands extend food plant operations but closure is imminent

Tiger Brands says the Ashton food-processing plant will be in operation for at least another year. The manufacturer announced yesterday that it will extend operations at the plant, for another season, after it earlier announced the imminent closure of the facility. Tiger Brands CEO, Noel Doyle says, in recent weeks, a significant number of parties have expressed an interest in the possible acquisition of the food-processing facility.
