The World Health Organization has urged patients, who have recovered from Covid-19, but experience long-lasting symptoms to engage with their medical-care providers to get specialized medical treatment.
According to the Head of Clinical Care, at the WHO, Dr. Janet Diaz, the condition is known as post-Covid-19 condition, or long-Covid.
Diaz says long-Covid manifests in many ways, with many patients experiencing shortness of breath, brain-fog and fatigue after their recovery.
