The new mobile vaccination sites – launched in the Mother City this week – has the capacity to each vaccinate up to 300 people per day.

The sites came into operation in Khayelitsha, Eerste River, Vanguard and Khayelitsha on Monday.

They were launched in collaboration with the Cipla Foundation, the provincial Health Department and the United States government.

The Acting U.S. Consul General in Cape Town, Will Stevens says more of the sites will, in the near future, be launched across the Western Cape.
