Western Cape police this past week arrested several suspects for two different business robberies.
Worcester police arrested five men after they robbed a business in the Western Cape town of Riebeeck West.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg says the men, between the ages of 26 and 40, were also found in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
Police also arrested two men in Kleinvlei yesterday morning after they robbed a small business in the area.
Members of the Maitland Flying Squad and the K9 Unit responded to the emergency call with law enforcers having to chase down the suspects to effect the arrests.
