WATCH: NDLOVU YOUTH CHOIR BRINGS THE ‘GEES’ AHEAD OF RWC QUARTER FINALS

Published on

Ahead of the Rugby World Cup quarter finals in Japan, Woolworths wanted to let our national rugby team know how proud of them we are and to show them our support.

So on Saturday 12 October they partnered with the Ndlovu Youth Choir to co-ordinate an emotive flash mob, singing Shosholoza, in our Mall of Africa store, to help spread the gees and unite South Africans in showing that we’re behind the team, all the way.

Equally exciting was when customers noticed a few familiar faces in the crowd, including Trevor Nyakane, and Victor Matfield; as well as the families of late rugby heroes, Chester Williams, James Small, and Ruben Kruger, all there to offer their support for our boys in green and gold.
