Three more suspect instigators arrested, July unrest 2021

The Hawks says 3 more alleged instigators of the July unrest last year, who were arrested over the weekend, in KwaZulu Natal and North West, are due to appear in court today. Last week, authorities rounded up 22 suspects on charges of conspiracy to commit public violence and incitement to commit arson, among others. More than 350 people were killed in just over a week, during the unrest, with billions of rands of goods lost and infrastructure damaged, in the looting.
