There has been a breakthrough in the Lusikisiki mass murder case, of almost 2 weeks ago in the Eastern. The Police have arrested one person in connection with the fatal shooting incidents.

Breakthrough in the Lusikisiki mass murder case

Eighteen people were killed in the two shooting incidents. The victims were members of two families and were allegedly busy with preparations for a traditional ceremony, when unknown gunmen, opened fire on them in Ngobazana village.

The Police recently questioned 3 people in connection with the murders. It’s not clear if one of the 3 is the person who has been arrested. The suspect is expected to appear in court today.
