The Plant Powered Show brings all things plant-based and conscious living to the Mother City.
This show is not only aimed at vegans and vegetarians, but anyone interested in living healthier and more ethically. The Show is also a platform for those in trade – retail, restaurant, hospitality and distributors – looking for quality products.
The event makes its return to Cape Town later this month, and finally debuts in Gauteng in August.
This year’s Plant Powered Show features celeb cooks, talks by wellness experts, interactive experiences, networking opportunities and a diverse marketplace full of plant-based food and lifestyle products.

Heidi Warricker, Founder and CEO of Live Events Africa, and organiser of The Plant Powered Show says sustainability and food awareness is “one of the biggest trends worldwide”. And this event is the place to learn and live more:
People are becoming increasingly interested in what they are eating, where it comes from and the effects their diets have on the environment. Chefs are sourcing better produce and using locally sourced ingredients and smaller producers which can only be beneficial for our health and our planet
Warricker adds that people want to “live more consciously” and be “more mindful of the animals” we live on Earth with. She says that chefs and foodies also want to “create delicious meals with exciting new ingredients”. “It’s a food revolution that we are proud to be part of,” says Warricker.
We are delighted to be bringing this world-class event to Gauteng for the first time as well
