The new covid-19 regulations, announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa last night, has been gazetted. The regulations were published in the Government gazette earlier this morning, and are effective immediately until the 3rd of January next year. According to the regulations, Municipalities will also be tasked with warning their residents if an area in their municipality is becoming a covid-19 hot-spot. This information must be published on local municipality websites, and in local media.
