The new-covid-19 regulations, announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa last night, has been gazetted. The regulations were published in the Government gazette earlier this morning, and are effective immediately until the 3rd of January next year. Municipalities will now be tasked with warning their residents if an area in the municipality is becoming a covid-19 hotspot. This information should be published on local municipality websites, and in local media.
