The National Institute for Communicable Diseases says 9 149 new covid-19 cases have been identified in the country, which represents a 15.7% positivity testing rate.

This brings the total number of laboratory-confirmed cases to more than 1-point-7-million. In the past 24 hours, there was an increase of 844 hospital admissions. 127 additional in-hospital deaths were also reported over the same period.
