The minister of health, Dr. Zweli Mkhize says Gauteng has the most new corona virus cases since yesterday after KwaZulu-Natal recently recorded the most new cases. The Western Cape reported the third most new cases. At the same time, the Northern Cape reported the fewest new cases. Mkhize also said active cases in the country have surpassed the 230 000 mark. More than 92 000 of the 232 006 active cases are in KwaZulu-Natal, followed by the Western Cape and Gauteng, with more than 46 000 cases each. The Northern Cape has the least active cases in the country.
