The majority of Covid-19 patients in Groote Schuur are unvaccinated

Published on

The Faculty of Health Sciences, at the University of Cape Town, says 99% of the 254 Covid-19 patients currently in hospital at Groote Schuur have not been vaccinated against the virus.

In addition, 100% of the Covid-19 patients, who are in High Care Units and on Ventilators, have not been vaccinated either.

The Faculty says vaccines work and they have once again called on all adults to get vaccinated against the virus.
