SA Women Fight Back is a national community of united women networking to bring about change and improvement for all women and gender based violence in South Africa. Through non-violent, collaborative engagement we lobby, influence and hold government and other authorities accountable for the safety, empowerment, equality and justice of all.

Our group started on the 8th of August 2019, and we currently have 239 176 members and counting. Our group has been a safe haven for women to share their stories and to unite in the fight against Gender Based Violence in South Africa. Through our group it has been bought to light just how many women suffer in silence and have been victims of rape, domestic violence and abuse. The numbers would shock you !!!!
We have been working since our group started, rallying at courts , marching and doing petitions. We will continue to fight but we are also tired. The women of South Africa are tired of our countries broken promises and we are tired of watching women and children suffering every day while the government sits and debates what should be done. The time to act is NOW.
SA Women Fight Back has put together a petition of the 16 Promises the president made to the people of South Africa on the 5th of September 2019. Our leaders need to be held accountable for what is happening in our country and we want ACTION not words. We need this petition to be signed by every South African that can access it. Our goal is to reach 500 000 signatures.
We need to stand together as a nation, we need to make ourselves heard and we need to not give up. Not this time.
South Africa is our home and we need to Fight for our home!!
