The head of Health in the Western Cape, dr Keith Cloete, says without a vaccine there would be further Covid-19 outbreaks and vaccinations are the only safe route to return to normal. He says if enough people have immunity and herd immunity is achieved, other people who have not been vaccinated will also be protected from infection.
