The Special Investigating Unit says it will now launch an investigation into tenders worth R 474-million issued by the national Department of Water and Sanitation.

The SIU says the investigation will focus on the procurement, contracting and implementation of four IT contracts which were awarded to technology group EOH and its subsidiaries.

The alleged corruption allegedly took place between 2012 and 2017. The SIU says it will be working closely with the State Capture Inquiry to investigate the matter.
