SASSA advises beneficiaries to use alternatives to receive monthly grant payments

Published on

The Social Security Agency of South Africa (SASSA) has advised all grant beneficiaries to make use of all the other alternatives through which to receive their monthly grant payments.

This follows a recent announcement that the South African Post Office has stopped payments to beneficiaries at its branches.

SASSA spokesperson Paseka Letsatsi says clients must make use of their SASSA cards to withdraw grant payments at supermarkets.

Letsatsi says clients can also withdraw their grants at national Banks.
