President Cyril Ramaphosa says South Africa is perfectly situated to extract maximum benefit from the African Continental Free Trade Area, which will come into operation in January.

Ramaphosa addressed US investors and other role-players, during this week’s virtual US-South Africa Investment Round-table, and said that the platform will have a massive impact on the economies of African countries.

Ramaphosa says 30 African nations have signed up for this trade agreement.

He says the initiative will greatly boost trade across the continent.
