Police are still refusing the EFF to proceed closer to Brackenfell High School, where they are meant to hand over a memorandum to school officials today. Hundreds of EFF protesters are gathered about a block away from the school, with a police official earlier saying that protesters  they cannot be allowed to proceed to the school premises, while armed. Police earlier used stun grenades and a water cannon to disperse protesters.
