The Western Cape education department says that, to date, 11 927 teachers have been vaccinated against Covid-19.

4 198 vaccinations were administered across the province yesterday.

Teachers across South Africa are currently being vaccinated with the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

The WCED says a further more than 3 500 vaccinations would be administered this week.
