The currently-available Covid-19 vaccines do appear to work against the Delta variant

The South African infectious-diseases expert, Prof. Salim Abdool Karim says the good news at this stage is that it does appear that the currently-available Covid-19 vaccines do work against the Delta variant.

He also reiterated that people, who have been infected with the Beta variant, can again be reinfected with the much more transmissible Delta variant.
