Loyiso Bala returns to R&B with fresh new music

Back in 2000, South Africa fell in love with the voice of Loyiso Bala when he appeared on TKZee’s big hit “Fiasco”. He’s has an incredible career spanning two decades. Along with a string of hit songs, music awards, and gospel music.

 

But, if you’re wondering why you haven’t heard new music from Bala in recent years, it’s because he’s been on a slightly different career path.

Bala got his MBA and appointed the channel director for one of the largest family and faith TV networks, TBN in Africa. Loyiso is also the SABC Eastern Cape’s business manager looking after key radio stations.

 

 

 

Answering the call for new music

Now, after 13 years away from the R&B genre he dominated, Loyiso has found his way back and answered his fans’ call for new music.

 

The new single “Do It Again” features Gigi Lamayne and the song was co-written by Jimmy Nevis. The song is all about reuniting with a former lover and showcases the singer’s smooth yet commanding vocal prowess.

 

 

He accredits his ability to manage the demands of his executive role and actively pursue his passion for music to the strength of his team, both at work and at home.

 

Along with the release of this single, he has stated he plans to release a new full length album later in 2023 and share new gospel singles as well.

The Bala Family on Mzansi Magic

As if that wasn’t enough, Loyiso Bala joins his brothers and other family members on the small screen in a new reality TV show. The Bala Family on Mzansi Magic gives viewers a front-row seat into the lives of this family that is talented and successful, but has its fair share of obstacles as individual cultural and religious beliefs are at odds.

Having taken the time to pursue his academic goals and hone his business skills, we can expect to see a lot more of Loyiso Bala.

 

Whether it’s through new hit songs, his work in ministry, or on television, this star of the local music scene is proving once again why he’s a household name and beloved by fans across the nation.
