Lobby group calls on police watchdog to probe Bheki Cele’s conduct

Lobby group Action Society has approached police watchdog, IPID to probe the conduct of Police Minister Bheki Cele and members of the police following a heated public outburst at a community safety event in Gugulethu, on Tuesday. During the heated exchange between Cele and the director for community safety, Ian Cameron, police members forcibly removed Cameron from the meeting venue. Meanwhile, the Smile Breakfast team will speak to Cameron at 8:10 on 90.4fm.
