Is the world doomed – or is the chaos exactly what it needs

You are not alone if you’re anxious about where the world is heading. Following a deadly pandemic, raging conflict, and a cost of living crisis, it’s understandable why many people across the globe are feeling under pressure. The new Gallup annual State of the Global Workplace report shows close to half of all workers are feeling stressed and disengaged. The crisis in Ukraine, on the back of over 2 years of Covid-19, has also caused a spike in anxiety levels. Faculty of Military Science Professor at Stellenbosch University, AJ Esterhuyse believes global threats can be tackled as opportunities for the world to mend.
