The Bellville Reproductive Health Centre has temporarily closed its doors. This after parts of the building’s ceiling collapsed following heavy rain in the Mother City yesterday. The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness’ Shimoney Regter has more details:

“No patients or staff have been injured. Facility management has made arrangements to support clients. If you have an appointment or require reproductive care services, please visit the Reed Street Community Day Centre in Bellville. A dedicated queue is available to support you at the Reed Street CDC to access care. The Reed Street CDC is open from 07:00 – 16:00, Monday – Friday,” says Regter.

She adds mop-up operations are underway to ensure patients and staff can safely return to the site.

More communication will be circulated regarding when operations will resume. For patient enquiries, residents are requested to call: 021 946 3790.
