From instantly recognisable international names to homespun heroes, every year the Con brings a selection of the world’s biggest stars to Cape Town’s shores. This allows fans to meet them in person.
Comic Con Cape Town is the place to meet celebrities
Guests heading to Comic Con Cape Town this year, from 30 April to 3 May at the CTICC 2, include a dazzling array of actors, voice actors, directors, writers, and producers. Guests will be featured in slots on the Main Stage and Artist Alley Stage. They will also participate in Q&As, offer behind-the-scenes insight into their careers, and meet and greet fans.
Christopher Sabat
Christopher Sabat is a veteran voice actor, director, and producer. He has a résumé that reads like a list of anime’s greatest hits. As a voice actor, director, and producer, his roles include those of Vegeta, Piccolo, Yamcha, and Shenron in Dragon Ball Z and Roronoa Zoro in One Piece. He was also Giroro in Sgt. Frog, All Might in My Hero Academia, Daisuke Jigen in Lupin the Third and Yami Sukehiro in Black Clover.

Jason Liebrecht
Jason Liebrecht has been working as an actor and performing artist based in Texas for well over two decades. As a voice actor and performance artist, his roles include Beru in Solo Leveling, Dabi AKA Toya Todokori in My Hero Academia, Rob Lucci in One Piece, The Beast Titan and Zeke Jaeger in Attack on Titan, Qrow in RWBY, Lord Champa, Jeice and Taipon in the Dragon Ball realm, Mob in Mob Psycho, Finian in Black Butler, Grip in Assassination, and more.

Evanna Lynch
Evanna Lynch is an Irish actress, author, and activist best known for her portrayal of Luna Lovegood in the “Harry Potter” film series. Chosen from over 15,000 applicants, her performance brought warmth, individuality, and depth to one of the franchise’s most beloved characters. Her other roles include Betty Flood in My Freaky Family, Alehna in Sinbad, Gentry in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Emily Egan in My Name is Emily.

Martial T Batcheman
A Cameroonian-born actor and voice artist who grew up in South Africa, Martial has built a career across international film and television. He has appeared in productions including Redeeming Love, Tali’s Joburg Diary, and Unseen. Martial’s career continues to grow on the global stage with his casting in the hit live-action adaptation of One Piece. In it, he portrays the beloved pirate musician Brook, a key character whose story ties into one of the most emotional arcs of the series.
Steven John Ward
Steven John Ward is a South African actor, producer, and writer. He is best known internationally for his breakout role as Mihawk in Netflix’s live-action adaptation of One Piece. His portrayal of the iconic swordsman introduced him to a global fanbase and solidified his presence in the world of genre television. Ward is a graduate of the AFDA School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performance in Cape Town. He has built a diverse career spanning television, film, and producing. With a rapidly growing international profile and a strong connection to audiences worldwide, Steven John Ward continues to be one of South Africa’s most exciting talents.
Jazzara Jaslyn (NEW announcement!)
Jazzara Jaslyn is an award-winning South African actress, writer, and director based in Cape Town. She is a graduate of the University of Cape Town’s Theatre and Performance program. Jazzara has built a versatile career spanning international television, film, and elite stage productions. She is widely recognised for her role as Miss Valentine in the second season of Netflix’s global hit One Piece.
Television credits
Her television credits include starring as Jane Swann in the action-thriller Professionals (alongside Brendan Fraser), Eliza Pendleton in HBO’s Warrior, and Miranda Hugo in the M-Net drama Lioness. On stage, she has garnered acclaim for her performance as Alex Forrest in the adaptation of Fatal Attraction. Beyond acting, her 2024 debut short film, A Knowing, received nine international awards, followed by her 2026 project, Strange Dance.
Callum Kerr (NEW announcement!)
Callum Kerr is a Scottish actor, model, and country singer who appears in Netflix’s live-action One Piece as Smoker, the formidable Marine captain inspired by the iconic work of Eiichiro Oda. He is also known for his roles in Monarch alongside Susan Sarandon and Trace Adkins. He also appeared in Virgin River, The Wheel of Time, Hollyoaks, Four Weddings and a Funeral, and Flowers in the Attic: The Origin.
An accomplished country artist
Alongside his acting career, Callum is an accomplished country artist. He blends Southern influences with modern storytelling as he builds a growing presence in the music scene. A fan favourite at conventions, Callum is known for his engaging personality. He also has interesting behind-the-scenes insights and a genuine passion for meeting fans.
Ty Keogh (NEW announcement!)
Tyrone Keogh is a South African actor. He began his acting career with various related production jobs as a scenic set painter, set builder, propsman and animal wrangler. At 16, he started appearing in TV commercials for brands like Vodacom UK, Pepsi USA, Opel Europe, Orange Communications, Nestlé, and KFC. His first film role was young Michael Kittridge in the film Blast.
Keogh had a supporting role in Blood Diamond
Keogh had a supporting role in Blood Diamond (with Leonardo DiCaprio), The Deal (with Meg Ryan), Goodbye Bafana (with Joseph Fiennes) and Starship Troopers Marauder (with Casper Van Dien). He acted as Jack van Reenen in the M-Net soap opera The Wild from 2011 to 2013. Keogh also acted in international television serials such as Dominion, Homeland, and Black Sails, and the film 24 Hours to Live. In 2026, Ty acted as Dalton in season two of Netflix’s One Piece.
