Premier Alan Winde says the province is now focusing on recovering the 321,000 jobs lost due to the Covid-19 pandemic and -lockdown. Winde says the severe restrictions that have been imposed, over the past six months, had a devastating impact on the tourism sector. Winde says the first priority is to regain the lost jobs, before focus can be placed on creating more jobs.
