On the 15th of April this year Reach for A Dream introduced us to Leqisha and her mom Nicolene. Their family had been going through a lot as Leqisha battled a life threatening illness. At the time Leqisha was wheelchair bound due to cancer affecting her spine, but today she walked into studio to say hi to us.
During her treatment doctors had told Leqisha that she would likely not walk again so we were so incredibly happy to hear that she stepped out of the hospital and didn’t need her wheelchair.
