The 54 year old Principal and a female passenger stopped at the school in Henzikile Street at around 7 am, when three assailants approached their car and opened fire.

The female passenger was wounded, and rushed to hospital, while it’s believed the Principal died on the scene.

The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.
