In times when people are divided over many issues there’s one thing that unites us – our mutual hatred for mosquitoes. Now that Summer is in full swing we’re just buffets for the mozzies in this heat. For most of us it’s usually just a case of lost sleep and itchy bites.

We asked our listeners to share their stories about the worst encounters with a mosquito. We heard about poor newborns being bitten on their fist day at home, someone getting poison in the face, a remodeled bedroom, and an incident that led to knee surgery.
