If you think this looks extravagant wait till you hear about the multimillion rand lunchbox from Japan. A few years ago Japanese department store Takashimaya sold three commemorative gold boxes for food delicacies to mark its 180th anniversary. The luxury lunch boxes, with three layers, are made from 18-karat gold and weigh 3.35 kilograms. They only sold three of them for a whopping R3 876 592.
