Fire and Rescue Services have scaled down resources at Parliament, from 9 o’clock last night, but are still on scene this morning.

The mayoral committee member for safety and security for the city of Cape Town, JP Smith says Fire and Rescue Services have scaled down resources from 9 o’clock last night. Approximately 20 firefighters are still on the scene. They are attending to hotspots on the fourth floor of the National Assembly.
