Cape Town police say they have opened a case, in terms of the Disaster Management Act, after hundreds of people protested against Covid-19 vaccination in Sea Point yesterday.

The crowd also protested against the possibility of a vaccine passport.

Police spokesperson, André Traut says police officers were deployed in Sea Point after the approximately 250 people protested there.

No arrests were made.
