Plans underway to vaccinate as many matrics as possible before the end of the year

Published on

Plans are underway to use some of the mass vaccination sites in Cape Town to vaccinate as many matrics, aged 18 and older, against covid-19 before the end-of-year exams.

A possible fourth wave of infections could occur by the end of the year.

The Western Cape Department of Health says there are signs that the province is slowly but surely moving out of the peak of the third wave.

The EMS Pinelands mas-vaccination center will be used to help vaccinate matriculants.
